What was the "I'm fired aren't I?" moment you experienced or witnessed?

Oh I have a few, I'm a little too paranoid to tell stories or leave good comments filled with information, but here it goes: Drove an overloaded landscaping dump truck, for the first time for this company. I was really new and really young (<20), might have even been my first week with the responsibility of driving at all. Any way i'm following a co-worker back to the homebase/ dumpsite after filling that tuck with first lawn clippings then just tossing our tools right on top. The very last piece of equipment loaded was a 500lbs water roller and; me being so new, didn't really feel the need to say anything about the perceived dangers of it being so precariously placed(they did shit like this all the time rt??). Welp I was following "speed racer" back to the worksite, it took all i could to keep up with him in this overloaded truck. he took the second to last turn on to the road where we were going and I followed hardly able to slow down enough to make the turn due to the oversized load and cut it sharp to make it...that heavy ass piece of machinery came flying outta the truck when i took that corner, totally ruined the equipment and if any cars were present totally coulda killed someone. I quit like a week later("unrelated"), the boss woulda been cool, but some of the other co-workers were saying I'd have to pay it all which would have taken more time than I was there to begin with.
