Slews of people hold on to ideologies that go against their own best interests. That doesn't happen freely. And capitalists are adept at coercive advertising.

No one needs a spell to understand their peers have no interest or desire to oppress them without this outside influence.

I'm not in Cuba, so i don't know anything about what goes on there, and you don't either.

But you can't call Cuba communism because the workers are not in control, they are in some (unnecessary) stage that may or may not progress to a stateless classless moneyless(tradeless) society, or may be a dictatorship.

Where there is communism, they will have been worker solidarity and opposing communism would be akin to going back to literal slavery. There is nothing to oppose. Any concerns are heard and mitigated in a way that satisfies everyone.

How do you propose societies move from capitalism to communism and will there be mechanisms in place to revert back if people want to?
