What is Indianapolis like?

Indiana is a lot different from what I imagine California to be like. Lots of farms outside of Indy, and lots of flat land.

Indiana as a whole tends to lean Republican, while Indy tends to favor the Democrats. I don't think even the craziest of our politicians approach the mildest ones of California though.

Shit's cheap here. Stay away from Fishers or Carmel and you'll be shocked by housing prices, but even those suburbs are cheap compared to California. We don't get earthquakes, except little tiny ones every now and again, but we do get some wicked thunderstorms and tornados.

Hoosiers are pretty nice to each other. Generally a hard working, blue collar type state. Indy is growing, many of the small towns are shrinking, but they're fun to visit from time-to-time. Peyton & Reggie are worshiped as much as Jesus. We do like to complain about traffic, but it ain't shit. Roundabouts are becoming a real thing here. I think of California as being fairly diverse... Indiana isn't.
