What industry is shadier than most people realise?

Currently I work for a doctor with.multiple practices. She has general dentists and specialists who work for her. The doctor who makes patients bleed over a simple filling (removing decay) takes away too much tooth. This I see and a lot of his patients come back to us. They now have pain, originally they did not. When you have a cavity you may not even know you have one. He drills way too deep.

Another dentist in a different state I used to live (I grew up in a smal town) would do unnecessary work. This same dentist worked on me and the fillings she has done on me are now leaking. She has done a root canal in every single tooth in one women's mouth. That women left her practice and showed her xrays to.another doctor (one I started working for). Her old xrays revealed that her teeth didnt need such extreme procedures. Actually she did the same to my mother.

I could never report anything bc I cannot live knowing ive ruined someone's life. Its that simple. Its also not easy to accomplish anything after reporting A dentist. As for contributing to the problem, im insulted. I treat each and every patient the way I would treat my own family. When they are in pain I feel for them. I want them to feel better. I want them to leave my office happier. Reassure them that their pain will go away. I take my job seriously and I believe that dentistry is so unbelievably interesting. From making a temporary crown to assisting a bone graft every bit of it is gratifying.

Dont get me wrong there are unbelievable dentist. But unfortunately, to me, all the unethical things that occur outweigh a great dentist and make me view dental offices as shady. I say this bc every.dental office ive been to and worked at.has had some serious issues. Other assistants can agree. And I envy an assistant who does not.
