What item did you lose that still bothers you?

When I was about 10yo, my grandpa gave me ¥1000 (equivalent to about 10 USD) and told me to go buy myself some ice cream. I was more in the mood for pineapple so I the biggest pineapple I could buy with said ¥1000. Skip home, dash to the kitchen and start butchering my new purchase. When I finished cutting it into bite-sized pieces, I put it in a bowl and took the bowl to the living room table because that's where I planned on eating it. However, I decided I would clean the cutting board and knife before I sat down to eat because that's how I was raised. Done. I'm now totally prepared to gorge myself on some pineapple.

Open the door to the living room and there on the table is an empty bowl and my grandpa with a huge ass grin on his face, saying how delicious the pineapple was and how he wished he could share it with me but I was out buying ice cream.

Yeah it's my fault for not leaving a memo saying that pineapple was mine; there are a plethora of things I could've done to save my pineapple but to this day I am still salty as F U C K.

TL;DR. Grandpa ate the pineapple I cut and was looking forward to. Deep grudge. Haven't talked to him in 13 years because I'm being childish.
