What "key" is this?

No, I don't. I just tried to use it along with several other chords I like to play and it sticks out a lot. I mean, maybe I'm crazy or something. I don't know. It really does sound wrong. I often use G and A# in chords, but not with D.

I never had a music teacher or anything, I'm self taught on literally everything. I know very little about what chords are called and stuff. I actually had to look up what a g minor chord was. When I started learning guitar, I didn't even know what standard tuning was. I immediately started playing in drop b tuning, and moved on to drop c after a while and I never left drop c. Maybe I have some sort of distorted perspective on music because I learned wrong? I'm starting to feel like my life is a lie. Whenever I begin to tap notes on my keyboard, my right hand position always starts with my thumb on F, index on G#, and pinky on C and I just go from there. I never move my pinky over to the D. I've literally always thought that note was "off limits"... like, for years.
