What kind of ideas do you have?

I still don't have a code, but I remain hopeful =)

I'm far more excited to create VR games than flat games, but there's still so much to learn that I'm excited to start with what's available in the beta.

I want to start with our solar system. Try to work out the inclinations and durations of the planet orbits and recreate a reasonable (if cartoonish and simple) facsimile. No advanced gravitational physics, just an on rails solar system.

Then i'd like to make a simple-as-possible clone of the mechanics from Kerbal Space Program. No rocket/spacecraft editor. Just a two stage rocket with just enough fuel to make it into orbit. Add a UI to show your speed and elevation.

Then go from there. Add complexity as best I can. Make zones at different elevations off of the surface of Earth that provide less and less turbulence to simulate a thinning atmosphere as you get higher. Make sure re-entering the atmosphere works the same, but opposite. Include certain pitfalls if you don't enter between a target speed and angle.(aka r.i.p.) and just keep iterating everything until it's more and more accurate.

And hopefully when the game comes out (with vr support!) I can take everything I've learned and make an in-cockpit vr space simulator! Something where you can pick between various real world launch sites, you have to start off with the earlier vehicles like Vostok and Mercury until you work your way up to past the Shuttle to SpaceX's forthcoming Starship.
