I'm the accommodating teacher. I teach ESOL and I see daily how hard everyone in a class works, so I do my best to make it as seamless and easy as possible on them. I offer them help, I give advice, and I listen to their problems daily.
I'm doing all of this while no one wants to change anything about their schedule to help me put students in leveled groups, forcing me to have lopsided groups and a split schedule day all day seeing each group 2 times each. I then have a boss who put recess duty in the middle of one of my classes evne though she knew I couldn't change it due to it being all accommodating to multiple other people. Then my direct department advisor ignores the disconnect between our department and the school, placing all of the burden on me to make everything work even though the office and our department are the only things causing the problems I have in the first place.
That said, I like my job lol. I don't mind solving a puzzle. I just prefer to be given all of the pieces to do it and I'm always 3 pieces short.
