What kinds of reform do we need in the US to prevent mass shootings from occurring at such a high rate going forward?

I would encourage the removal of Gun-free zones, where 98% of mass shootings happen. I think we should hire some of the many veterans in need of jobs to work at schools as armed guards. Hell, give them a room in the back where they can watch TV or play xbox and sit there during school hours with a gun.

Remove some of the billions of dollars that we have set aside for illegal immigrants to stay in the USA worry free, and use that to pay them. Problem solved.

I also don't get why the left loves attacking guns so much, when so far in 2018 the current death toll for the following are:

Abortions: 137,000 Tobacco: 43,000 Obesity: 38,000 Medical error, 31,500 Alcohol: 12,500 Suicide: 5,300 Drunk driving: 4,200 Poisoning: 3,900 All drug abuse: 3,100 Prescription drugs: 1,900 Murder by guns: 1,400

Guns are definitely not our greatest problem.
