Not a chance, I will vote against it.
Australia benefits from a somewhat complete health care system, alcohol, tobacco and drug abuse already cost a fortune, we don't need to add to the costs. Alcohol and tobacco taxes don't cover the cost to the health care system or lost productivity. There's no good reason to make it worse. Legalising an addictive psycotropic substance for recreational use is f***ing insanity.
Psych wards are very expensive. I don't want to pay extra tax for someones self imposed cannabis use disorders.
It should not be legal for recreational use, it is likely to have medicinal uses however (Some cancer patients report a higher standard of living).
