What is it like to wear a dress? What do you like or dislike about them?

I love them. Its often all I wear for weeks at a time. I buy ones which are fitted on the top and a loose skirt that hits around the knee, and I wear them over leggings or tights.

I think they're flattering and hide my lumps and bumps. They make me feel put together and mean I can go from work to dinner with friends or a date without feeling too casual. I like the freedom of not having waistbands dig in or trousers restrict my leg movements. I love patterns and dresses are an all over excuse to be patterned. As a woman in a male dominated industry, I feel it projects an air of confidence- I'm not interested in being 'one of the boys'.

The only thing I don't like about them is that they're a complete outfit so they always have the same 'look'. My colleagues notice me rotating my work dresses much more than they would notice me mixing and matching a small number of tops and bottoms.
