same I was one of those who stopped watching and just finished s9 last night now that it's on netflix. I didn't stop watching because I missed Rick/Carl/Glenn etc, I stopped because the story sucked and it was so boring it felt like torture trying to sit through the crap writing. one of the reasons I love the show so much is the dope action scenes, and of course it can't be action all the time and nobody wants it to be, but I just hate when everyones standing around moping and talking for like 2 seasons straight and the dialogue isn't even good anyway and none of the characters are well written. it also jumped the shark really hard. but now I'm hooked again thanks to season 9.
