What made you actually respect your boss not because they were the boss but because you saw them differently because of something they did ?

Conniving boss: I have a great idea.

Middle management underling: What's that?

Conniving boss: I'm gonna hire some homeless guy to walk into one of the stores I'm supposed to evaluate... and have him shit in the bathroom, but have him spread it everywhere.

Middle management underling: With all due respect... that's fucking crazy, sir. Why would you do that?

Conniving boss: I'm gonna earn everyone's respect by cleaning it all up myself.

Middle management underling: But, you can have him fake it by smearing chocolate all over the place and then you can just stop anyone from getting too close to the bathroom so they won't smell that's its obviously chocolate.

Conniving boss: ... that's a good idea. Use chocolate. You're now promoted.
