What made you think someone was into you but turned out they were not?

Guy I worked with. He was so nice and that initially started the crush I got on him. He is good looking too though, but I really didn't start crushing on him until I started thinking about how nice he is. I caught him checking me out several times. He always went out of his way to say hello and stuff. So he ends up leaving that job. I am still kind of crushing in him so I find him on social media. He adds me back, seems kind of interested. He even asks me what my intentions are. I said just get to know you for now. Jeez I am not thinking that far ahead but I should of asked his! We talk daily then it gets sexual. Leads to sexting. After 2 months of this, this guy has yet to ask me out or really any personal questions about myself. For someone so nice he really is one of the worst guys I've ever tried getting to know and vice versa. I get that he just isnt that interested in me. Wish I could have convinced myself so early... but it is what it is. Anyway down the road I read other ladies who work with him always raving about how nice he is.
