If you’re asking about me personally, I guess I would fall into the group that I’m not interested in hearing from. I don’t feel that I’ve needed to “step up”

Specifically “I don’t feel that I’ve needed to ‘step-up’” - almost every dad on this sub would tell you, “I felt that as soon as I found out I was having a kid.” Just look through the post history, most are genuine concerns, most are asking for advice with a picture of a pregnancy test. So maybe you are part of the group that needs to self evaluate and ask yourself, why you haven’t felt that way.

I said assume, because your asking a group of dads, hoping only the “previous bad dads” answer. If I asked this sub, with swapped roles on a numerous amount of other subs, it wouldn’t go over well. So what makes you think it’s ok to imply something negative towards dads and just ask?
