What made your worst job ever your worst job ever?

The store caught fire, ruining about 1/2 million of merchandise.

Boss took the duty from me of reporting what was damaged due to the fire / water and reporting it to insurance.

I started doing inventory later, found a ton of stuff the insurance wrote us checks for that would be added back into our inventory, inflating our numbers.

I sent email up the chain innocently saying, "hey so I'm finding tens of thousands of dollars worth of merch we got paid for from the insurance company that is perfectly fine, how do we go about correcting that?

No responses, no replies, but suddenly I was getting written up for made-up things and was questioned for sexual harassment for the first time in 8 years.

I quit the next day.
