I'm an Android fan, certain things an Apple phone doesn't do for me. Sorry for the length
But this is why I own other Apple Devices and recommend them to people, and like them when doing tech support,so going from experience
Update simplicity
Apple announce 9.1 ,within a week, all the devices will have a notification saying update available, no matter region, carrier, device, etc. It's as simple as receiving an app update for a game, download the update, and install, simple easy. I can make a 30 second call to older people, tech weary and they know what to press and it does it.
By contrast,Android is a fucking hassle ,dependent on, locations, region, carrier. Instead of one week,it can be six months, a year,no guarantee, you might have a difficult update, have to wipe the phone, lose data, have to flash with a cable ,etc
Update length
IPhone 4s is getting updates, from 2011,might be missing certain things, but, its getting stuff, what it can. Four years, and the phone isn't getting left behind . Apple gets your money,so they make sure you get proper support
Android flagship phones from 2013, are already being left behind
Design Control
Apple says all apps must have an animation of a circle that moves clockwise, with a certain colour, or simple stuff like icon placement. It will be there, every app,no matter what While Android ,Google will have on their own apps,a circle,no circle, colour icon etc, its a hassle to figure out

In summary,Apple, make sure to keep stuff simple as they can. Supports stuff, etc ,worth sticking with them. Quality guaranteed ,despite the stuff that's bullshit, like low ram and storage
