What makes necromancy bad?

In my own stories, Necromancy is somewhat feared but not outright hated; it is working with the dead, after all. But not all Necromagic is bad and is separated into two classes:

Necrourgy, this is the raising of the dead and working with the hard material of the form, as well as the practice of 'Frankenstein-ing' bodies together in some places.

Necromancy: This is the summoning, the binding, the divination of spirits, working with the ethereal dead to speak to them, give them a window of the world they left, possibly help them move onto the after-life, and can help to detect the spirits of the dead in places that either must be cleansed or have to be avoided.

Necromagic isn't bad in and of itself in my settings, it's just scary, but there ARE bad Necromages.

For example, a Necrourgist can imbue an army of corpses with their magic but this leaves the original soul of the body alone. The soul isn't touched by the magic, and the bodies can be used.

But bodies an also be made into Revenants, undead that are imbued with magic and made more powerful by the Necrourgists power. They retain their intelligence, they retain their personality, but they're dead. They don't typically stick around long and it's usually used in war, where a skilled soldier slain can be brought back to finish his mission.

But, it can be bad in that the Necrourgist can outright force the soul back in, violating its metaphysical rights and being the Necrourgist version of rape of the soul. This makes other Necrourgists in the area know something very bad just happened, broke the laws of Necromagic, and thus will bring punishment down on ALL of them because 'Necromagic is scary'

Otherwise, Necromagic is used for a number of purposes and some societies outright employ undead for their purposes.

Sentries that never sleep, miners that never stop working, soldiers that can only die by finally being obliterated. Of course, there's the fact that Necrourgists can't just go on indefinitely, magic drains their energy, so while they can maintain a number of undead for awhile, they can't do it over and over again ad infinitum.

They need sleep, food, drink, people.

So Necromancy in itself isn't bad, it's how it's used.
