What do men want that they'll never admit out loud

I just want a good girl man. Honestly, it is kind of hard to describe what this would constitute but I dunno, it kind of feels like in every relationship (only like three tbf) I have been in I have had to at some point be a dick ( take longer in replying to texts, be less affectionate, more distant) for them to start appreciating me again. Maybe I get unlucky with the girls I like but I can't help but feel there is something else. Idk I hate cliches and I used to hate this one the most but nice guys really do get a shit deal a lot of the time. One of my mates is an inherent player like he is honestly a decent person it is just that monogamy and commitment are not in his blood. Yes he often gets into shitshows of drama but I can't help but notice the passion is never lost with any of his partners. I can't help but feel that, as a guy who is just naturally predisposed to long-term relationships, my 'nice guyness' is seen as weakness.
