What misconception about history bothers you the most?

I'm downvoting you just for your really shitty writing, but you're also wrong about what I'm able to make out of this nasty pile of letters and punctuation. Columbus was obviously not responsible for all the evils of his time. But he was responsible for his own, and they were plenty by themselves. He was a terrible person who enslaved, maimed, and butchered people. And that was not just a thing that everyone in his time did. He let his ego get him in way over his head, and he ended up terrorising and entire people in order to save his own head. For a guy who constantly preached religion, he was pretty fucking hypocritical. And for all that, he didn't even know where he was. He thought he was in the Indian Ocean.
