What moment made you say “Yep, I’m definitely dead”, but survived with no major injuries?

In 2019 I was broadsided by a Tahoe going 35 mph while I was riding my bicycle. The lady wasn't watching the road at all! After she dead on hit me, I flipped up over my bike and I slammed into and collapsed her front window. I rode on top of the Tahoe like riding a wave out on a surfboard until she came to a stop. I barely remember anything after the moment I thought, "HA! Your window can't handle ME!!".

I was ambulanced to the hospital, and spent two months of impatient treatment at a couple of different hospitals. I broke my left clavicle, scapula, thumb, pinky, pelvis, fibula, two metatarsals, tore my left rotator cuff, tore the ligaments in my left thumb and pinky, and tore my ACL and MCL in my left knee. It's been 22 months since then..

..and last month I cycled 703 miles. The month before was 690, and about 600 in April. I'm not going to give up on my quest to become an Ironman!
