What moment in your life did you think to yourself, “Yeah, this person isn’t my friend anymore.”?

This comment chain here is my favorite. It attracts the very kinds of self-proclaimed political messiahs up in a blind rage who will try to defend dehumanizing people if they don't conform to an individual, STAND-ALONE perspective. It's as if "I actually don't hate Trump" or "I kinda like Hillary" has become synonymous in many people's eyes with "I'm subhuman and deserve to watch my family die."

Seriously, look in a mirror people. You are the hate you claim to fight. I don't care if you like Trump, hate Trump, like Hillary, or hate Hillary. The moment you start trying to justify why it's "okay" to invalidate someone's entire being just because their opinion isn't a cookie-cutout of your own, without even giving them a minute of your life to explain why they believe what they do, you lose all credibility. Trigger warning: it's okay to support Trump. It's okay to love Hillary. Don't forget every person in this world has had an equally complex and unique life as your own, and has had their own set of experiences which have gradually shaped their beliefs.

Nobody likes to hang around toxic people, so just don't be one.
