What is the most bizarre reason a customer got angry with you?

I had just started working at a pizza shop. I delivered to this guy's house, gave him his pizza, said have a good night, and went back to the store. My shift ended and I didn't work again until the next weekend, when I delivered to the same house. I went up and noticed he didn't owe me anything, so I said enjoy your pizza and have a good night. I get back to the store and am greeted by the manager, "Did you drop his pizza *again??!*" I was dumbfounded, "I have never dropped a pizza?" "He called us last week because you dropped it so we sent him a free one. He just called our district manager because you dropped it again." So we sent another guy out and when he got there, he asked to see the dropped pizza.

Obviously, there was nothing wrong with it, he just wanted free food.

I took it a step further after I stopped working there--I had the guy's number in my phone because I had to call him that his pizza was coming, and it connected to his instagram. So I PM'd him from my private account, "Hey! You might not want to lie about an employee dropping your pizza so you can get free food, and then doing it again to the same employee the next week and nearly getting them fired. That's how you get your food spit on :)"

Did I spit on his food? No, but I sure hope he thinks I did.
