A friend of mine has a Nazi as dagger and a bayonet he took off some dead Nazis. About 20-30 years ago when we were in high school we took it to a gun show to get an idea of how much it was worth as there were a lot of memorabilia collectors at those shows. Anyways we brought it to one dealer and he offered my friend a hundred bucks for it, he was not interested in selling it as it was his grandfather’s and it was staying in the family. Anyways we had people following us around offering more and more money for it, I think he was offered $1000 at one point. One guy was nice enough to tell us what it was really worth and told us to watch out for everyone trying to take advantage of us. My only point is the same dagger is worth some $$

As far as I know my friend still owns the dagger and bayonet.
