At my 16th birthday party one of my (former) friends got so worked up about the girl who he was in ‘love’ with shagging not only him but practically everyone else in the friendship group that he punched a hole in my kitchen wall, took a knife from the drawer and proceeded to superficially cut himself. Nothing to require medical attention but enough to draw a fair bit of blood.

The girl in question never apologised to me or him for causing this situation but sat and comforted him until he went home. She continued sleeping with 2 of his best friends after this, so she wasn’t even slightly remorseful.

Thankfully I got out of that toxic friendship group straight after this. Still amazed I stayed in it that long tbh.
