Here is my list of the dumbest shit I can remember having done, omitting things that I could still get in trouble for and the stupid stuff like fighting that was so common I can't really break it up. Before anyone asks, I rarely drink anymore because I never know who'll come out:

1)blacked out on saint patrick's day at a house show, tried to pass out in a corner (something I commonly did in my teens), woke up in a basement covered in my own urine and vomit. I had to do my laundry at these peoples house while they were asleep and then clean up my own mess.

2)Got drunk and took mushrooms for the first time, put my head on the train tracks. Cops came and put me in a psych ward for two days before I passed a metal evaluation.

3)Side walled a guys tires because he was parked in my roommates parking spot..... The guy was in his truck.

4)Hopped a train but started DTing so bad I had to get off and find a drink, leaving me stuck for a time in Pocatello, Idaho.

5) Tattooed "FUCK UP" on my knuckles (as well as two of my friends).

6) Tattooed the head of my penis while drinking on a dare

Most of these things happened before I was 19. I was homeless/couch surfing from about 14 after my father died and obviously did not choose a good path. I spent from 14-20 drinking heavily and doing almost anything that came my way, and 20-26 working and getting drunk whenever I had free time. Then I met my wife, got married and had a kid. We both committed ourselves to stay sober and not raise our daughter the way we were raised. Lost most of my friends, as I realized we were more drinking buddies and they didn't have much interest in me if I wasn't getting drunk with them.

I'm not proud of any of this but I feel like I should be honest about it.
