What is the most frustrating part about working in your field?

Yea, that is so true. A lot of management treat admins like garbage. So much condescension and also people getting you to do things for them that they can do for themselves (getting coffee or their lunches ready, doing personal chores for them, that sort of thing), but if you refuse to do those things your career can suffer.

Honestly I think the condescension gets to me the most though. I may be an admin due to shitty life circumstances, but I'm not stupid. I realize that I am not as educated as upper management, but that doesn't make treating me like a stupid toddler justified, especially when I'm excellent at my job (as has been told to me by... basically everyone??). Yea anyone I meet that tells me they are thinking of doing admin work, I'm like STAY AWAY!!
