What was the most gruesome thing you saw at your school?

This happened my freshman year of highschool.

Towards the end of the quarter, our school would have us on a "block schedule" where our classes we're distributed over the course of 4 days. Essentially we had 2 really long classes in a day then got sent home early.

That day we had P.E. and because it was the end of the quarter, the teachers let us just have fun. This day in particular we had another class join us and we settled on a game of kickball.

Problem was, it rained in the morning so the field was wet. Enough for kids to be slipping and falling at least. Everything was fine until this one kid kicks the ball and is running to 1st base, slips and falls. His back was towards the crowd of students so we couldn't tell anything was wrong but he wasn't getting up. Suddenly everyone shuts up and this kid sat up with his arm bent backwards 90°. He was still moving it slightly, too.

Best part was this kid wasn't phased; apparently it happened to him before and he asked not to call the hospital. Meanwhile, all the students were switching between turning away and looking back at his arm.
