What is the most memorable moment you shared with a stranger who you never saw again?

Some friends and i were on a trip to South England for another friend's 21st birthday. My buddy and I left the pub for the night and as we were walking back to our Airbnb, we got separated. Soon after, some guys came up to me, demanding my wallet. Of course, being drunk and self-inflated, I said no, so they beat me up then took my wallet and my phone. They broke my glasses (my prescription is -9.25, so I was certifiably blind without them) and one of my teeth and left me pretty shabby-looking.

I was lost, broke, blind, and looked really shady because of all the bruises and blood. I walked into the first open store i could find and asked for help. The clerk called the police and we waited and waited, but nothing. Eventually a really nice local girl (probably college-age from her voice) offered to walk with me back to the pub to find my friends. After what felt like an hour or 2, we finally found one of them and they got me back to the Airbnb. I would've been so screwed if it weren't for that girl and I never even got her name. If she's reading this, I hope she knows how thankful I am.
