What is the most pain you've ever experienced?

I'm hoping to hell that I never get gallstones after reading through this thread.. For me it was induced labour, which involved three attempts with a pessary which contained the hormone which kick starts labour. I was three weeks overdue with (by then) a large baby, and yes, induction took three attempts before it worked. Three hours later it started and was not like a natural labour where contractions gradually increase, becoming closer together. Instead, I experienced a contraction every two minutes for 4 hours, and then for a further twelve hours I was getting contractions one minute apart non-stop. The contractions themselves were more intense and powerful than what they naturally would have been too, I was told by the doctor at the time, because not only is this the case with being induced with the hormone pessary, but I'd had three lots of it, so I was experiencing it tenfold. After 12 hours, I was not dilated enough, but because I was suffering so badly, they phoned down for an emergency c-section. My baby however was born shortly after before they even had chance to get me there, and suffered third degree tearing. I don't remember how many stitches I had, but I coukdn'tvwalk for several days after, and had to stay in hospital for over a week, as I had also lost so much blood during the birth and tearing the way I did, that I needed an emergency blood transfusion. I then suffered a nasty reaction to the transfusion, which they sorted, but it was not a pleasant experience at all, and I was in pain for a long time until I began to feel better, and could eventually pee again sitting down, and without having stop and start, and normally walk again.
