What is the most plausible theory that you believe behind the death of JonBenet Ramsey? Please use sources and facts only in this thread

Here is a theory that is based on all the known evidence:

The Ramsey's arrive home on Christmas night from the White's party. Both kids are awake (even though the Ramsey's insisted she was asleep and never woke up); Burke had stated that she was awake and helped carry stuff in. Jonbenet wanted a snack before bed so Patsy gave her the pineapple and made Burke tea. The parents then go to their room. Burke gets the flashlight out of a kitchen drawer and goes down to the basement to get a sneak peek at the wrapped Christmas gifts (wrapped gifts were found in the basement with the corners torn open). Jonbenet (Burke said that she always bugged him) follows him down there and catches him in the act and threatens to tell. She starts to go back upstairs, he grabs her by the shirt, tightening it around her throat. She lets out a piercing scream, Burke panics and hits her really hard on the head with the flashlight. He can't get her to wake up. He jabs her with a piece of railroad track. Nothing. So he just goes upstairs and goes to bed. Patsy comes back downstairs and finds her missing. She wakes Burke up and he says that he thinks she went down to the basement. Patsy goes down and finds her either APPARENTLY dead or near death. She wakes John and he goes down there and checks on Jonbenet and thinks she's dead. They both decide to stage and cover up the incident to avoid losing both of their children and their good family reputation and potential prosecution from allowing it to happen to begin with. Burke did have psychological issues and it's very telling that the Ramsey's bartered with the so called DA, Alex Hunter to maintain an "island of secrecy" when it came to the release of medical records. Enhanced versions of the 911 tape reveal the voice of Burke asking, "what DID you find?" And John replying harshly, "We're not talking to you!" The fact that the Ramsey's insisted to the police that Burke was asleep all night and didn't hear anything (even though they never said that they woke him up and asked him) and shuttled him right out of the house refusing to allow police to talk to him, tells me that this could be what happened. It's only a theory, but it seems to fit the known evidence and why both parents would be involved in the cover up. All to protect their son. Patsy's only remaining child and she could not have any more. Burke makes extremely interesting comments to a social worker right after the incident as James Kolar describes in his book.
