I had surgery to fix multiple broken bones following a car wreck. Part of the surgery involved taking temporarily moving my guts out.
The doctors didn't know if I would be able to take a shit again because of my injuries and the surgery.
Over the following days and after numerous attempts and suppositories, I couldn't crap. My gut juices were leaking out my ass, but nothing was shifting; every fart was agony. Then, *11 days *after the accident, I felt something move. I called for the nurse and a team helped get me out of bed and put me on to a portable toilet. It was agony due to my injuries, but I finally managed to crap.
I filled up two bed pans in that poop session. The team helped get me off the toilet and a nurse came and wiped my butt. Under normal circumstances, this would have been totally embarrassing, but having that shit was amazing.
Once I was cleaned up, I called my mom to let her know that I had a crap. She cried. I cried. It a huge relief to be able to take a dump again. Most painful, but best poop ever.
