My boyfriend and I were watching a family-friendly animal documentary and there was a scene where a baby dolphin got separated from its mom after this gang of male dolphins pretty much tried to rape her and the mom escaped but couldn’t find her baby and the documentary people just showed the male dolphins splashing and lurking but then the mom found her baby a few yards away after swimming around like crazy. Anyways I started bawling when the mom and baby dolphin were swimming to get away from the other dolphins- I didn’t even know the rest was gonna happen which made it so much worse for me. My boyfriend was completely thrown off and refuses to let me watch animal documentaries unless he’s seen them first and can tell me not to look/everything’s going to be ok…but I am fine I can watch them…I was just on my period :/
