It ain't like coming across Yog-Sothoth but there was one instance where I question reality and legitmately felt like I was living in a soap opera run by some cosmic gods.

I had feelings for this girl who had a super strict dad and we had a meetup spot a few blocks from her house. One late night I drop her off at the spot, push myself to go in for a kiss but chicken out. She gets out of my car, I say fuck it, follow her out,call her and go for a kiss. She turns me down. She looks over my shoulder and sees her dad walking down the hill who notices us. He legit starts chasing me in what seems like circles until exhaustion. He notices my car (because the lights are still on), approaches it and lifts a closed fist. I realise he's about to smash my rear light until I speak up. He drops the fist, turns around, bitch slaps the daughter across the head (we're european, slapping your kids across the head is normal) and the head off.

The diabolical coincidence of that night still terrifies me.

tl;dr don't be a chicken or you risk losing your rear car light.
