Started off as a subreddit for people who didn’t like the last Star Wars movie, The Last Jedi.

Turned into a subreddit where people cook up conspiracy theories about LucasFilm and Disney.

Some of the more choice:

  • Disney buys up film tickets so opening weekend box office numbers look good.
  • Disney pays off film reviewers so their films get good reviews (but only some of them, apparently)
  • Disney kills older characters because they have to pay Lucas royalties on them (Lucas sold his rights in 2015)

  • Disney has a feminist agenda that seeks the destruction of the older male characters

    It also allows people to crosspost screenshots where it’s members are fighting with other subreddits, encouraging brigading. Let the toxicity flow!

Most notable for thinking Rian Johnson, who appears to be one of then genuinely nicest people in Hollywood, is a maniacal asshole.
