What is the most unexpected thing you've seen at H-E-B?

I moved to a suburb in Austin and our HEB often has no assigned baggers - like maybe only at 30% of the lanes. And it’s the norm for customers to bag their own items as the cashier rings them up. I hate bagging my own stuff. Not trying to be shitty, but I’m TIRED (from work and having little kids) and the five mins I’m getting checked out is like a break for me. It always feels like I’m the only one NOT bagging my own shit. I’m always trying to get the lane with the bagger - and I obsess on that bagger not leaving my lane before I check out (bc they hop around). I’ve never dealt with this situation at another Heb. And, yes, I get that it’s a privileged, shitty complaint.
