i got burned out once mostly due to guild content. i was in a semi-comp t1g guild with regular benching when missing swords once out of 50 gws, having to watch +3+2+1 etc. i thought i was done completely with this shite game.

then i came back, my fiancé found herself a very chill & active farming guild in the meantime and i joined. that changed everything for me. yeah, i'm top contributor in siege almost every time, most gws are a joke but it's suddenly fun again. i don't get benched ever, still almost never missing swords and i also try to remember to do lab every day.

i went so far as to create an alt recently to have a third team for r5 and even on that account i'm doing all the guild content in the same guild daily while helping out less experienced players when i can.

i dunno man... sometimes it's the seemingly little things that make or break a game or any activity in life really.

for me it was the pseudo-competitive aspect of guilds. fuck that. bam, suddenly the game is fun again.

oh and also using emulators did a lot for me. i wrecked a galaxy tab s2 within 6 months playing sw. switching maily to 2 nox instances is so much more relaxed than always worrying about deleting your device batteries.
