The Fly

I was barely in elementary school, I think, and I saw my dad watching it and it freaked me the fuck out. I just remember walking downstairs into the basement and my dad was riding an exercise bicycle or walking on a treadmill, and I saw Jeff Goldbloom turning into a fly. The television was tiny, but it was gooey and gross and I had nightmares about that scene for years.

Fire in the Sky fucked me up too. I was barely a teenager and we would walk to the movie theater, from our suburb community through a small wooded area to the strip mall it was in. I watched a scary as fuck movie about people getting abducted by aliens in the woods, then had to walk back home through the woods at 10 PM.
