What nic level do you vape?

DISCLAIMER: Personal details of my vape journey y'all didn't ask for. Doing so, in order to possibly aid vaping newcomers coming across this post in search of their appropriate nic level, should any of their current devices match or are similar with what I used growing as a vaper along the way.

Smoking Background: Smoked about 9 stoges (MReds/MRed72s/CowboyKillers) a day for 7 years.

24mg - Only time I've vaped 24mg was with my first pen-style vape. A Vision Spinner VV, equipped with a BogeF15 Carto-Tank, and a replacement set of Boge XL (2.0 Ohm) punched cartos. My first juice order got delivered. A 30ml 50/50 Blue Ice juice from MBV. Impatient as I was, I went straight to priming my cartos and firing up my new vapeby up once all was ready.

That first throat hit gave me such a hard hit. I almost immediately became convinced it was finally possible for me to quit smoking with the use of PVs as my biggest concern converting had always been the lack of any noticeable buzz or TH from the 18mg cigalikes I'd been offered to take a drag from by friends/family from time to time. Even though my Blue Ice was overbearing at times, I found productive uses other than using vaping as a means to stop stoge cravings. Almost late for class in the AM and have no time for coffee? Vape n' wake some mentholated 24mg juice and you'll feel like you're being tweaked into instant morning mode as you slowly reach baseline during your morning rituals. That is, unless you continue dragging it or have a tolerance to that level. Do you, booboo. Eventually, I wanted to enjoy and vape more for flavor rather than getting my nicotine fix in a mattter of seconds, so gradually tapered down.

18mg - Considerably less nic and throat hit than 24mg, but overall still wasn't completely satisfied. Not the right flavor/nic ratio I was looking for mainly. Good for fixes, but in the beginning of my vaping I was searching for something I could hit frequently and not run the risk of chasing flavors, only to end up with nausea, headache, and dizziness. Also, my first experiences with 18mg nic were from various cigalikes and they felt closer to 9-12 mg on a ego w/ a carto or clearo setup.

12mg - iTaste MVP2 running a 5ml Valley View Vapes Frosted Pyrex Glass Carto-Tank (Discontinued I think). I've found 12mg juice to be exactly what I wanted and needed for outside use, as the drippers I accumulated over the years were mainly for home use. There's nothing I found better for outside use in terms of convenience, maintenance, features, flavor, vapor, battery life, and build quality. The throat hit is like a drag you take when you "kiss" a cigarette, well I guess it can also depend on what you smoked on previous to vaping, but for me this entire setup was perfect for outside use. Tried doing 12 on a dripper...DAMN. Not as enjoyable as dripping a 1-6mg juice, just way too harsh, at least for me.

1-6mg - I eventually got into 3 and 6 mg juices for home use once getting into RDAs and Sub-Tanks, which seems to be the general popular choice of nic amounts for these hardware. I have my own DIY supplies so I have several batches of different flavors left to age and shake up with the amount of nic I feel like accordingly.
