3 years ago my boyfriend (29yr) confided in me that for the last 20 years of his life he bared the weight of a horrific secret alone, & that I was the first person he ever felt he could open up to. He was already tearing up then he finally uttered the words... from the age of 6- 9yr he was being raped repeatedly, on a weekly basis by the 16yr cousin his parents entrusted to watch him a couple days a week after school. Handed back over to his abuser week after week after week, parents oblivious to the nightmare he was forced to go home to. Over time his abuser would bring his own little brother into his sick little world. Forced to act out whenever he desired. He went on to detail the overwhelming confusion, shame, anger & powerlessness he felt during those 3 years. In the years after the abuse ended were spent believing that because as a 6yr he didn’t say no - he was the one who allowed it to happen. Raked with guilt & shame for the abuse he was forced to enact his younger cousin & hating himself for not being strong enough to fight back. This man will never be punished for his crimes and for the life changing trauma he inflicted on those boys because statute of limitations ran out long before his victim could even speak about it. Today we discovered that he is now the father of a 5yr little boy. His Facebook profile photo is just the two of them. I want to flip this guy’s life upside down & expose him. Without laying finger on him I want to ruin this man’s life in every way, shape or form. Sending letters to all his neighbors & friends & place of employment, protesters screaming at his house, social media shaming, ect… What would you do?
