What was that one "something" you did that took your meditation to the next level?

You're speaking from the intellect and using it to attempt to gauge your spiritual maturity relative to mine (and/or others). By smug statements such as:

Teachings on morality aren't inherently guilt or anxiety inducing. If a person responds to them that way it is because of their own mental habits. Teachings on morality are meant to help us live in a way so that when we sit down on the cushion our mind is calm and quiet. A calm and quiet mind then slips easily into the higher states of meditation and realization.

you've concluded that you have superior attainment.

That would be a misguided, intellectual assumption.

I have simply noted and rooted out more neuroticism and deluded thought and am therefore able to more honestly articulate it. The honest and detailed articulation of the various ways in which illusion has been lifted is not itself evidence of current levels of delusion.
