What is one story you have always wanted to tell on r/askreddit, but no one has ever asked the right question?

A couple of weeks ago, I woke up home alone. I started to head down the stairs and I see an orange kitten. I had no idea whose it was, and I just concluded that it was one of my relative's cats, and I had slept through them dropping it off. I pick up this kitten and carry it to bed with me and we take a snooze. I texted my family a picture of this kitten and I am informed that it was a stray. I figured she must have gotten in through our dog door.

Anyway, I had work that day and decided to call off to go take this orange kitten to the vet and have it scanned for a microchip. Found out this kitten is a she, and that she doesn't belong to anyone.

Enter my Grandfather. My grandfather likes to sneak into our home to sneakily walk our dog who he claims he hates. Okay, Grandpa, sure. So, he takes my dog out on a walk and this orange kitten walks up to him and my dog, purring and wanting attention. My grandfather thinks this is our GREY 18-year-old tabby cat (who hates everyone and everything, ESPECIALLY the dog), and he decides to put her in the house. "They are identical!" he said when I showed him side-by-side pictures of both cats. Anyway, we kept the kitten and whenever I see my grandfather I always ask him to bring me more animals.
