What is one thing you will do differently from your parents next time?

  1. Grades aren't everything. If my kids getting 18 out of 20 for his/her spelling tests, so be it.

  2. Not embarrass my kids in public by lecturing them on personal stuffs at the traffic lights in front of everyone.

  3. Assuming that anyone my kids walk home with is a 'paikia' and make it seems like it's his or her fault that 'paikias' are attracted to them.

  4. When my kids get into trouble with bullies in school, sweep them off with statements like "out of so many people, why did they choose you? It has to be your fault!"

  5. If my kids want to join a CCA like gardening or librarian club, so be it. No need to be in the sports team or NPCC/NCC.

  6. If my kids' classmates get selected to go on overseas trip exchange to represent the school, no need to compare.

  7. Asking my kids "why so late" and "got homework anot" with a frown by shouting from the kitchen even before he or she has entered the house and is taking off their shoes at the door-steps.

  8. If he or she does PSLE good enough just to enter the NA stream, so be it.
