During freshman year of college I was living in a coed dormitory. My roommate was out doing something with friends and I was alone in my room. It was a weekend and maybe about 10pm. I'd just brushed my teeth and was getting ready for bed. Just then I heard a knock on my door.

There was no peephole, so I had no idea who it was. I opened the door and there's a girl standing there who I'd never seen around before. She had duct tape over her mouth and more duct tape wrapped around her hands, binding them together. She didn't seem distressed or anything, and attempted to mumble what I believe was, "Can you help get this off?"

After taking a moment to overcome my initial confusion I cut the tape off her hands with scissors and attempted to pull the tape off her mouth as gently as I could. She thanked me and then turned and walked down the stairs and out of the building. I don't recall ever seeing her again for the rest of my 4 years in college. I have absolutely no idea who she was or what was going on.
