What part of growing old scares you the most?

Losing relevance to younger generations. I actually prefer the old school mentality where the elderly got the highest amounts of respect and the world wasnt kid-centric. At least as you get older and weaker in some aspects, you are compensated by being revered. What is there now to look forward to in a society that is obsessed and focused only on young generation because "they are the future?" That hurts two-fold. Instead of experiencing a slow rise in relevance through life, for about 20 years you are told you're practically the chosen one and everything is awaiting you, then suddenly you're an adult and the future is now with some new kids whose world doesnt interest you at all.
