What a peaceful protest looks like - MMM 1995

But in the video he is clearly dragged into the van after the scuffle and seems to be already suffering from a broken spinal cord.

Do you know that's even their fault? How do you know how it happened? Accidents happen, for one, but it may have been something out of their hands. He made the decision to run which forced the police to use force to take him down. I know that If I ran, and something happened to me, I'd have brought it on myself. I'm sick and tired of people thinking they can just disrespect and ignore police directions and then call foul when they get hurt or killed. Sorry, it's the social contract of a civilized nation. If you don't like it, go to a country without established social norms.

he should have been arrested and taken to court. Instead he is now dead. Don't you see the difference?

I am more than certain that no one intended to kill him. No one decided to be judge, jury, and executioner.

Listen man, I'm an east-coast liberal. I'm young, atheist, and go to a liberal university in a shitty crime-ridden city. I'm not some caricature of a racist many have in mind. I even really, really support Obama when it comes to most issues. But I have a problem with the fact that we can't call the spade in the black community a spade. They have severe cultural issues that are not being addressed. None of our social programs are working. And then liberals, like myself, love to blame it on poverty. Ohh, it's just poverty, we say. But you know what's weird? Poor ass southern white areas, for all their cultural deficiencies, aren't killing eachother at absolutely monumental rates. There is a problem, my friend.
