What pedals did you sell/return/dislike instantly?

I have two that I either sold or traded within 1 week of owning said pedal: Industrialelectric 4046-m and EHX Superego+.

For anyone not familiar with the first, it's a PLL which looks great on paper (basically a fuzzed-out, synthesized version of your guitar plus modulation and some interesting routing options). Unfortunately, the execution was not great. The modulator section (my favorite part of the pedal) was incomplete, with 70% of the controls doing absolutely nothing and 20% not loud enough (without the synth side active). The remaining 10% could've been a pedal on its own, and I still believe that. Add in a lack of clean blend for the fuzzy synth - good luck with placing this pedal after anything else - and you've got a very expensive paperweight. I sold records to buy this thing and ended up trading it for an ARF and Bloodmoon, which eventually became (after a long string of trades/sales) my Fuck and Mini combo. Moral of the story... don't buy this pedal. Buy the RM-1N or Echo Degrader instead if you want to try out some IE devices.

The latter I was honestly surprised by, due to my enjoyment with the regular Superego. Sadly, the FX section was pretty crap, which made the larger enclosure unjustifiable. If you take out the FX loop, remove one of the footswitches, and make the enclosure a bit smaller, then it makes more sense. The freezing portion is spot on, and I loved having the additional controls for threshold, dry/wet, and expression heel-toe "preset". But it wasn't meant to be, so I posted it back on Reverb, putting the sale funds into my MIDI controller.
