What do people actually wear?

Yeah, it can be a pain getting prescription safety glasses here. I got mine through a former employer. When I worked in a shop we had to where leather boots, and I quickly bought metatarsal protection after managing to get welding slag directly down a lace hole. I danced like no one was watching.

Foam earplugs, and N95 for ear pro, and dust. Real respirator for paint or finishes. Between the military, and 15 years of competitive shooting, my hearing isn't so good anyway, even though I almost always had ear protection. Flip-down face shield for flying metal chips, to save my glasses. I don't tend to use gloves for anything but moving plywood around.
