What do people learn too late?

If there wasn’t a problem we wouldn’t be trying to fix it. Maybe the immigration has died down now, but in 2015, it was a very real problem. Also, yes, walls do stop immigrants. Not all, but a lot.

Trump shouldn’t have sent the military in for no good reason. I don’t know why he did that.

The Muslim ban is to stop terrorism. Statistics has shown that when there’s a sudden, huge influx of Muslims, there’s more terrorism. Look at Europe for examples. They have had a huge increase in terrorism since the North Africa crisis.

Obamacare is bloated. The underlying principles are ones I support, but what happened is that Obama was approached by 50 different organizations all wanting to include their versions of care to the bill, and from what I can see, he said yes to every one of them. The result is a bill that’s absurdly expensive for insurers and wastes money on basically nonsense, like pregnancy insurance for men. Also, the Republicans have proposed a revised version of Obamacare that would address these issues but still keep things like mandatory insurance and preexisting conditions, but people here don’t seem to like compromises.

Birth control shouldn’t be insured. Having sex is a choice, not something that just happens unexpectedly (which is what insurance is supposed to cover). Condoms are so cheap that they pretty much don’t factor into the equation at all. If you don’t have access to birth control, don’t have sex. It’s that simple.

Also, babies can be given up at birth anyway, so it doesn’t matter.
