What is Perception Training?

Thats just my view of things so as Flowersimilar said take it with a grain of salt.

If we take professional poker as a discipline. There are a variety of different situations like small pots and big pots. In small pots the mind usually does not place so much significance upon them therefore there is no to little interference by the mind and therefore more access to the skill. In big pots there is suddenly pressure, fear and all kinds of emotions at play which completely distorts ones view of the situation. I feel perception training goes into the direction to understand that ultimately its just a hand that is being played and gets to a point where one can drop all the baggage that the mind accumulated in order to be at peace at all times.
